About The two towns of La Laguna
San Cristóbal de La Laguna has two nuclei, UNESCO explains: the original, unplanned Upper Town, and the Lower Town, laid out on philosophical principles with wide streets and open spaces, churches and houses of the 16th to the 18th century. Walk from one into the other, and end at the cathedral. Our advice: the Metrotenerife tram brings you up from Santa Cruz.
Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with The two towns of La Laguna before you go.
